Wood veneer is one of nature’s finest creations and offers a diverse range of colours, grain patterns and structures. Traditional skills applied by craftsmen are displayed in the creation of doors featuring vertical, quartered or horizontal veneers with marquetry inlays, styled grooves or applied mouldings.
To enhance the distinct grain patterns of our in house produced veneer layons, we apply as standard via a clear lacquer to a 30% gloss level. All Asico doors are available with a paint finish that is actually an in house spray applied high solid pigmented lacquer. Most commercially recognized RAL clours are available from our lacquer suppliers.
High Pressure Laminate (HPL) sheet material has been developed by a number of manufacturers to meet hygiene, safety and operational requirements of interior environments such as health, education, office and retails.
The laminated door is a door leaf finished with laminated plastic. Material for lining the door leaf are high-strength plywood or solid mahogany, which ensures stable characteristics of the geometric dimensions.
As filling material for laminated doors, we use honeycombed cardboard, thanks to which the door is made more durable, while remaining sufficiently light. Also used as filling material is solid particleboard, which gives the door extra rigidity, which also providing high thermal and acoustic insulation.
Asico laminated doors come in various colors and textures of the laminated, which can be plain, or bear a decorative pattern, imitating different types of wood.
