Speaking of the core of hollow metal doors, there are several standard fillings we can choose, such as honeycomb, rockwool, polyurethane and steel stiffened. Today we would like to do a brief introduction of the steel stiffened type, including its features, structures and what makes it different from the other filling materials.

Steel channels that run the full height of the door and are spaced about 6” across the width of the door. With the steel stiffened reinforcements, also known as the stiffeners placed vertically inside the door, steel stiffened core adds higher strength and durability, making it suitable for application scenes that have a demand for high security and abuse.
In addition, we also have hollow metal doors with other filling materials, such as honeycomb, rock wool, polyurethane and other materials. It should be noted that the three-hour fire protection central control metal door cannot be filled with foam materials.
